Description: Air mail special delivery letter mailed on May 2, 1946 from St. Paul, Minnesota to Fargo, North Dakota. The air mail rate from March 26, 1944 through September 30, 1946 was 8¢ and the special delivery rate at that time was 13¢ so the 22¢ stamp paid those rates plus a convenience 1¢ overpayment.
