France Scott 523A-523J Unused Previously Hinged in mounts on a Bush page. This set, picturing the Arc de Triomphe, was designed by the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington, DC for use in France once it was liberated by the Allied forces. Stamps are similar to France I set except numerals are in black. Stamps were issued the Provisional French Government in February 1945. 2015 Scott MNH catalog value is $4.
