The U.S. Scott 304 (2 copies), the 5 cent second Bureau issue, picturing President Abraham Lincoln, on a cover where the two 5 cent stamps paid the 10 cent surface rate to France. The cover was mailed from New York City to Paris, France on January 28, 1908. It  contains the advertising corner card of the Plaza hotel on the front which was scratched out. The cover was received in Paris on February 7, 1908 and then forwarded to Algeria, where it was received on February 9, 1908.
