U.S. Scott 424 and a pair of Scott 425 from the Washington-Franklin issues paying the 5 cent rate to Europe. The censored cover was mailed from Brooklyn, New York to Germany on May 4, 1916. The cover was opened for censor inspection and marked for release in  Emmerich. There is also a War Relief sticker on the reverse.
