Type III U.S. First Bureau Issue, picturing George Washington, paying the 2 cent first-class rate on an advertising cover for Gillespie Shields & Co. Wholesale Clothiers in Knoxville, Tennessee. The cover was mailed from Knoxville to Columbia, South Carolina on January 13, 1902 and  was received in Columbia on January 14th. The cover includes the address in Knoxville and says that their factory is in New York. The stamp was canceled with a Barry rectilinear machine cancel and the receiving mark is a Barr-Fyke cancel with vertical killer bars.
